Typically, the RRFBs cost around $20-25K per location including labor, materials and installation. Your agency has probably installed several of them in the last few years. Have you ever wondered how they are being used and about their effectiveness?
Two things jump out:
1. Usage - You can determine number of folks using it or activations by time-of-day and weekday or weekends. You can also determine number of pedestrians and bicyclists.
2. Compliance - You can determine the percentage of vehicles that are yielding and percentage of folks that are pressing the RRFB button
