My team has probably gotten sick and tired of me saying this over and over whenever they present software designs. The reason it's so important to me?
1. As a user, everything should be intuitive and clear. It should spark curiosity, not confusion. If the user is confused, they're thinking too much—and now their head hurts.
2. I don’t want users clicking 9 times to perform a function or leaving the system to finish in a spreadsheet. Everything should be in one place, with minimal clicks and scrolling.
3. Serving others is a deeply spiritual experience. Users should feel that too—cared for, heard, and taken care of. It's my team’s job to take highly complex functions and make them look simple and easy.
Does this mean we're perfect? Heck no. But we're closer to it than any of our competitors. That, I can guarantee.
