Hey folks, Gaylon here! I get asked all the time, “What kind of clients do you have on the NueGOV platform?” And honestly, it’s one of my favorite questions because the answer is never boring. Our client base is like a big, wild family reunion—everyone’s a little different, and that’s what keeps things interesting.
The “Fire-and-Forget” Crowd
Let’s start with the folks I like to call the “fire-and-forget missiles.” These are the clients who know exactly what they want. They hop onto NueGOV, set up their system, and before you know it, they’re off to the races. If we don’t reach out, we might never hear from them again!
No training, no onboarding calls, no hand-holding—just pure, self-sufficient action. I can think of a couple of clients who onboarded themselves, never asked a single question, and when we finally peeked into their setup, we were honestly impressed. They’d built something fantastic with zero help from us. Makes you wonder if they even read the manual (or if we even need one)!
The “Hand-Holding Heroes”
Now, on the other end of the spectrum, we have the clients who know they need a system—but that’s about all they know. These folks need a bit more TLC, and that’s totally fine. We spend a lot of time talking through their needs, brainstorming, and sometimes going back to the drawing board more than once.
Sometimes it feels like we’re their personal IT department, but at the end of the day, seeing them finally get what they need is worth every minute. Plus, these clients help us see our own platform in new ways.
Most Folks Are Somewhere in the Middle
Truth is, most of our clients land somewhere in the middle. They have a good idea of what they want, maybe need a nudge here or there, and once they’re set up, they’re pretty much good to go. Every now and then they’ll reach out for a tweak or a new feature, but for the most part, they’re running things smoothly on their own.
Why I Appreciate the Challenging Ones
Here’s something you might not expect: as much as I love the self-starters, it’s the clients who push us that really help us grow. They’re the ones asking, “Why does this take five clicks?” or “Why can’t I get this report faster?”
Sure, sometimes it makes us scratch our heads (and maybe grumble a little), but their feedback is gold. They make us better, plain and simple.
Wrapping It Up
So, what kind of clients do we have? All kinds! From the DIY dynamos to the folks who want a little more guidance, and everyone in between. And honestly, I wouldn’t have it any other way. Each type brings something special to the table, and together, they help make NueGOV what it is today.
